Our Story
Bodé Spa opened its doors in Ottawa in 2004 with a clear and thoughtful vision: to create a space where men could care for their skin, body, and overall well-being—with expertise, privacy, and without judgment. At a time when spas were primarily geared toward women, Bodé offered something different: a place designed specifically to meet the needs of men.
Bodé quickly became known for its personalized care, comfortable atmosphere, and commitment to helping men feel confident in their skin. From advanced skincare to grooming and massage therapy, every service was created with intention—to support men’s self-care in a way that feels respectful, accessible, and effective.
As demand grew, so did Bodé’s presence, expanding to Toronto in 2015 and building a loyal following among clients who valued both the quality of care and the welcoming, professional environment.
In 2023, Bodé became part of the Moon Brand of Companies—a thoughtfully built collective of wellness brands founded by Paola Girotti and rooted in the values of inclusive, purpose-driven care. This transition marked a new chapter in Bodé’s growth, allowing the brand to build on its strong foundation while expanding its vision for the modern men’s spa experience—and continuing to lead with the same care, expertise, and integrity it’s known for.
